Celebration of National Librarian's Day

 केंद्रीय विद्यालय एनआईटी सिलचर में आज दिनांक 12 अगस्त 2024 को पद्म श्री डॉ. एस.आर. रंगनाथन के जन्मदिवस को नेशनल लाइब्रेरियन्स डे के रूप में मनाया गया। समारोह का शुभारंभ पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष श्री नागेश कुमार पाण्डेय के उद्घोषणा से हुआ। श्री पाण्डेय ने डॉ. एस.आर. रंगनाथन की उपलब्धियों और पुस्तकालय विज्ञान में उनके अमूल्य योगदान को याद किया।

कुमारी राजिका डे कक्षा 10वीं और मास्टर अभिरूप दास कक्षा 10वीं ने भी इस अवसर पर डॉ. रंगनाथन के पुस्तकालय के विकास में योगदान के महत्व पर अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। कार्यक्रम में प्रधानाचार्य श्री सुनील गुप्ता, पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष श्री नागेश कुमार पाण्डेय, श्री प्रबोध दिनकर पल्ले पीजीटी कंप्यूटर साइंस श्रीमती मंजू रानी,  पी जी टी केमिस्ट्री , कुमारी अल्पना कुशवाहा टी जी टी गणित, आयुष स्कूल कैप्टन, और अन्य छात्रों ने डॉ. रंगनाथन के चित्र पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर अपनी श्रद्धांजलि दी।

समारोह के अंत में, प्राचार्य श्री सुनील गुप्ता ने पुस्तकालय के महत्व और डॉ. एस.आर. रंगनाथन के योगदान पर अपने विचार साझा किए। उन्होंने कहा कि इस महान विभूति के प्रति सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि हम पढ़ाई में निपुणता हासिल कर और पुस्तकालय को व्यवस्थित  और समृद्ध रखकर ही दे सकते हैं। कार्यक्रम का समापन पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष श्री नागेश कुमार पाण्डेय के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ।
